OES for German vehicles are my favorite. I’ve gotten very good at figuring out who makes what for who, and I love when I open the package and the automaker’s logo was clearly ground off so they could sell it in their own packaging. 

The quality of dealerships and independent technicians varies wildly by area. In the LA area it’s not uncommon to see dealers paying a shittier wage than most good independent shops.
