Hmm I didn't connect my Xbox with my TV cable, so I don't know how well it works here. I'm using it with a normal flatscreen TV via HDMI. And mostly I just watch DVDs, Blurays or use streaming services on it... if my better half didn't get one via his job, we wouldn't have one.

Hmm if they'd really bother they could have released it with just English and update localization when it's finished (I keep reading Scandinavians are good at English ;)). 50Hz is no excuse, Germany also use PAL 50Hz on older tube TVs. Though it doesn't matter when you go HD flatscreen, there shouldn't be any

Really? Maybe Microsoft thinks Finland is not big enough... But that's stupid. Do you have a release date at last?

"It's coming out later than other countries, so there should be a lot more simultaneous title releases." (Male, age 22)

I don't need no other sword combat. That's perfect.

Doing interfaces for games would be my dream job at the moment...

And the A actually stood for Arts!

Yeah I know. It's just when I read about small production teams it has an indie vibe to it ;) though I'm aware that in earlier times it was common to even have 1 person doing a whole game.

The surprising number of people who developed Gold and Silver

First game ever must been something on Amiga. I remember playing Double Dragon 2 and Lotus Esprit Challenge 2 with my dad. And watching him struggling with Lemmings... Later when we got a PC I tried many of these Shareware CDs (Master Blaster or something like that, robot on the cover!). Here probably are the most

They should have done more Sailor Moon RPGs. Well maybe (I hope) the reboot will produce new games that then hopefully get released in the west as well.

Still you need some basic knowledge to get something out of it. I remember how after mediocre 4 years of trying to learn English (as foreign language at school) it exploded when I started to watch Naruto fansubs (back when the series actually started English was the only thing available). The same time I started

It's even written in the video at the end that this is in Bangkok. You don't need to be able to tell people apart, just the ability to read.

Sometimes I feel similar. I'm half Thai/German (living in Germany) and can tell Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Filipino. Because we have many Turkish people here, them too. But everything that's central or west European, I feel like blind.

Pretty cool, no? I wish all the offices would've shut off their lights, though!

I actually have a XL but my better half plays with it. It's nice to play with at home but too big for bus/train rides. Also I think some games should stay small. I tried Fire Emblem on XL and the models suddenly looked rather bland. I never thought bad of the graphics when playing on my regular 3DS.

I know about this feature. Haven't tried on XL, but on regular 3DS it's definitely too small. I really tried, but so many RPGs are just rendered unreadable for me. It words for 3D graphics, but sprite games, no.

I play my DS games only on Lite because on 3DS, especially text, it's blurry as hell. I think that's what was meant by bad up scaling. If the 3DS had 2x the DS pixels it would still look crisp.

Ok nice, thanks for reassuring :)

I'm just wondering does it work with Kindle (last pre Kindle paperwhite version)? I got one on sale but so fare only tried stuff from Amazon. So I don't know how compatible this thing is, as I read that ePub is a bit of a hassle for it. Or PDFs.
