Back at school a classmate told me he thought that people walked faster back then, just like we know it from the speed up videos. I know that's some fps issue causing that.

I also never understood this. In sports, I only hear my national anthem when it's a match between nations (prior football matches) or when we won the F1 championships again (on the winners pedestal). I'd be much more fun to hear something like a local anthem if its a national match.

Did Nintendo miss this? I can't believe they didn't stop development for a not thaaaaaat old Mario game. Especially since it needs modification on their hardware.

I played the DS version every day until people started to leave the city... I'm afraid it'll happen here again. Does anyone know how much the long term "story" will be different from being a mayor and not a normal citizen?

Normal game case without special encasing I wait till it drops around 20-25€ used. And I dont care about used keys, dont play online. Special editions with carton boxing or anything that can wear out I buy mostly new at release.

From today's view I think the original intro also sounds a bit retro. And way to happy for its content :D

Well the different naming of Nintendo resulted in people calling any console or handheld just Nintendo ("do you have games for Nintendo?"). At least they stopped calling DS a GameBoy.
