We’re pretty much taught in the food industry (especially delivery drivers) that if you’re being mugged/robbed, it’s best to not even put up a resistance to the robber and just hand the cash/wallet/etc over. $15, $25, $50 is never worth your life and limb.

I’m pretty sure that’s absolutely not what he’s saying.

There are PLENTY of times on a bike where breaking The Law is necessary

I swear that half of these people are aliens. They *have* to be.

I got a good chuckle out of this one. Thanks!

Is this like the Miley edition of DUCK FACE? It disturbs me every time I see it.

That’s a “Watch once, be scarred forever” kinda film. Anyone who watches it more than that has to be a sadist. I mean... yeah, I’m gonna go cry again now.

This makes me smile every day that I see it.

I’m in Michigan, and our local town, Caledonia, seems to have a high percentage of Confederate flag wavers. Being from the South (and never waving this thing around myself), this boggles my mind.

What if I were to tell you that I’ve never played any of the Doom series, and I’ll be severely let down if this is Bethesda’s only news (read: no Fallout)? Because I will be sad for a short while, I tell you what.

“It’s all quite sad for them...”

You can be Christian and against Christian (read: people who abuse dogma) bigotry.

Stephen Lawhead was one of my favorite authors growing up. Seeing a deal of his like this kinda brightens my day. I haven’t ready much of his stuff lately (mostly because I exhausted it all years ago), but I’d definitely encourage giving this trilogy a shot. Very much steeped in Gaelic (read: Welsh) mythology.

It's more because the general consumerist public are idiots and actually do think the product is soap. It's even placed in the body wash aisle in most stores fergodsake, so that doesn't help with the idiocy.

WAITAGORRAMMINNUT. Is... is Chun-Li... is that Agent May??

1000x this statement. Businesses, surprisingly, can actually do the right thing, and the right thing isn't always about making them the best profit margin.

That's because they're getting off easy. Take any other line of work that doesn't involve a cage or a ring and your ass will end up fired and/or arrested. Why should celebrities have it any better?

I'm fairly sure the BBC America will survive this. Doctor Who, Sherlock, Orphan Black, Luther, among several other shows that have high ratings. They'll lose some viewership, sure, but let's not exaggerate here. :P

Sidenote: Is it just a Japanese media thing to constantly show people's faces as reactions to whatever is going on onscreen? Seems a bit distracting to me.

I've never ever seen Al be anything but a gentleman in anything he does, be it concert, interview, or candid. This only further solidifies my impression of him as an all-in-all outstanding guy.
