I’m sorry, I just don’t see that in the way he made the comment. I also am leery of placing that much assumption of what he would or wouldn’t have posted were she not a woman; we simply don’t know that. I’m inclined to think it was rather gender neutral.
I disagree, Heather. She was speaking on her personal Twitter, yes, but she was speaking about the kind of work she did in relation to a recent AMA that ArenaNet did on Reddit. She was, in fact, representing ANet by opening up that line of discussion on her own Twitter feed. If I started speaking about my place of…
I understand and agree that microagressions exist, but I simply can’t agree that what Derior commented was in any way microagressive. He was having a respectful and in-context dialogue with her regarding something he disagreed with. Labeling him a ‘rando asshat’ over it was extremely out of line.
She did it on her personal account, yes, but the Tweeter she was replying to was in response to something she posted on her private account with an official air about it. She was using her account to speak about her job; any self respecting employer will view that as a representation. I know that if I started snapping…
I must respectfully disagree.
I’ve said it on reddit and Twitter and I’ll say it here:
For the last two years, I’ve filed my taxes for free with Credit Karma. I was skeptical at first with the ‘no catch’ deal they offered, especially since I was used to paying TurboTax every year. But it was pretty seamless and I got both Federal and State done within the hour. The only drawback is that they don’t offer…

“free-ish”. It’s still valid to think of it as a perk, however. But you’re right. As soon as you stop paying for the service, you stop getting access to that game unless you purchase it for realsies.
3 1/2 star rating. Ouch. In digging deeper, it looks like there could be connectivity issues and the bulbs can frequently go offline after connected.

So for someone who’s never done Humble Monthly, what happens if you end up with a game you already own in your Steam account? Are you given a 2nd code to do with as you please?

The animation of the original cartoon actually disturbed me as youth. Long, spindly bodies and weird, angular faces? No thanks.
I think in the case of those whom this accusation is dealing with, further context is warranted:
Devil’s Advocate: While you value your property and your right to do as you please, what about my value to my property and how whatever it is that you want to do on yours plays a part in the worth of mine? Having mounds of debris, or graffiti on your siding, or unrepaired damage are all things that impact more than…
Do we know if it will be necessary to have played the first one in order to get the story of the sequel?

Ah, but worth is subjective! I find an immense value in my three extra minutes of shut-eye when compared to slaving about in the kitchen.
What you call ‘ineffiecient’, I call three extra minutes of sleep every morning. Time is money.
TIL that it’s “hallowe’en”
It should be noted that the majority of these issues are ‘samplers’ or ‘sneak peeks’, so not full-sized comics. There are a few gems in there I nabbed, however, so keep your eyes peeled.

Half of these examples aren’t even “shootings”. The first one listed was a bombing. Semantics, while often pedantic, do carry meaning here.
