I don’t know exactly where I’m going with this but some years back I saw Jadakiss in a corner store in Richmond VA buying dutches and to look at him you would have thought he just lived in the neighborhood lol. He had on Timbs (of course), some jorts and a not-particularly-fresh white tank top.

The more you drive it the more you feel like you’re getting away with something.

I should clarify that apparently his parents owned a fairly high end exotics dealership in CT or NJ or something so they let him drive a mixture of their personal cars and cars that they got in on trades. I don’t think he personally owned those cars, per se.

My freshman year of college (2007) one of the guys in my dorm daily drove a Lamborghini Murciélago. When he didn’t have that one he drove either a Bentley Flying Spur or a Range Rover.

When I was younger, having a retractable “whip” style antenna was the coolest thing to me. That and a sliding glass sunroof that angled slightly up (above the car) when it was open.

You’re right! Their tenders have definitely shrunken over the past few years. I try to stop by when they’re runing the $5 tender basket deal.

This surprises me but it really shouldn’t.

Time to re-open/re-examine every case he’s ever prosecuted.

This isn’t quite the same as this story but I purchased a router from Verizon/FIOS and they charged me rent as if it were their own for well over a year.

For example, I’ve found if I’m at a stop light in any manual transmission car next to some loud truck, or an open pipe cruiser bike, it’s SO much harder to launch smoothly without hearing your own engine.

I think it’s telling (and speaks to how great this design is) that this was introduced in 2010 and, 10 years on, it could totally hit the showrooms today and look current.

I haven’t tried the AirPod Pros (or any of the other higher-end “premium” wireless headsets) so I can’t speak to that but I can say all of my cheap (sub $50 usually) true wireless ear buds have sounded much better than the standard AirPods.

I know how much work and preparation (and logistics) go into pulling these videos off but part of me hates seeing the behind the scenes footage because it just zaps the tiniest bit of fantasy/magic out of it.
