The FA series from Subaru has been a revelation in terms of tunability. You can pretty reasonably get 340 whp on the FA20 in the 2015+ WRX with just a flex fuel/e65 tune (maybe an aftermarket J-pipe but I’m running the stock J-pipe with no issues).

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by that (I could be misinterpreting you) but this generation is by far the furthest from being just an “Impreza turbo”. 

Mine was similar to yours but I can’t blame my brother or anyone but myself.

I know the interior details seem to be a little polarizing from what I can tell, but the interior is really the only reason I’d want this over the competition (well, that + reliability and relatively stable depreciation).
