Yeaaaaah. And I’m super glad it didn’t involve any of that. It would have distracted from what the show was actually about.

I tried to stay spoiler-free and away from most of the speculation and I think it paid off for me. The fans who have whipped themselves into a frenzy because the final 10 minutes wasn’t a bunch of cameos for people whose names aren’t anywhere in the title of the show seem to be taking it pretty hard.
I sure hope someone got fired for that one!
One thing I’ll say , growing up in a poor European ( but not eastern) country in the 70s and 90s , there were a LOT of old American sitcoms used as filler in the day , I mean I saw stuff like Green Acres and the Beverly Hillbillies and Barney Miller the like , so its not inconceivable that she would have seen them.

The ending was near perfect. The novelty of doing the same things beat for beat would have worn off; we’ll still get to see a lot of the same places in Part 2 and on but the story will now be different. Now you’re telling me there’s a chance Aerith doesn’t die, or someone else does? It’s new, it’s interesting.
I got a kick out of the names of the opponents in these competitions. I know someone who is huge into weightlifting so I’ve heard of Jules Bacon, Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler just by seeing them get sucked into that world. Kind of a funny reference, can’t imagine there’s a ton of crossover between RPGs and…
I struggled with the last squat challenge after beating everything else first try.
Don’t answer that, we all know who you’re blowing.
Incredibly, that episode also featured Elisabeth Moss. No joke. She voiced the little girl.
