What about it do you think is a plot hole? The fact that nobody’s ever tried it before? It’s a desperation tactic that sacrifices a capital ship. The Rebels/Resistance never had them in enough numbers to be able to make the tactic viable (one of the major points in the movie is that Leia’s not dumb enough to fight a

You, you’re kidding right? This is a serious issue, but tell me you get the joke, or do not pass go.

Buddy, OP is making a Monopoly joke. Marvin Gardens wasn’t enough of a clue?

Pal, it’s really on you that you can’t appreciate what is inarguably the finest show on network and possibly all of tv right now

It’s not self propulsion. it’s a force pull. Luke pulled the lightsaber from the snow in ESB with zero training. The light saber was small, he was big, the lightsaber was loose (somewhat) and he was anchored, therefore the lightsaber came to him.

I’m hoping the video just doesn’t do it justice...that was...underwhelming

JJ makes great trailers. They’re one to two hours long, advertising the next installment.

And...13 days after release, TLJ is ~$90 million ahead of where Rogue One was at this point in its release, and only ~$87 million away from surpassing the total that Rogue One collected after 140 days in release.

Maybe leave the box office analysis to the rest of us.

What box office dropoff? It’s only just now entering it’s second domestic weekend.

Maybe look at some reputable numbers (and not make ridiculously hyperbolic claims) before posting? Last Jedi has almost made 600 million worldwide and hasn’t even had a second weekend in North America yet, nor has it opened in China.

Just watched it yesterday and spent about an hour reading this site’s articles on it over the last week. I find it odd that there are the older SW fans who decry that this film destroys the classic SW history and characters, and takes it into too new a direction...and yet the outcry after TFA was that it was too much

Is Last Jedi really polarizing to people who aren’t on Twitter? This controversy strikes me as bullshit.

His real name was John Snokeum and he lived on Naboo with his wife and children until two Jedi arrived who ultimately encouraged the race of Gungans to rebel against their oppressors. This uprising toppled the local government and, in the chaos, Snokeum’s family were killed and he was badly burned in the process. He

“Those” Skywalkers made their money bootlegging Corellian liquor.

Jake Skywalker of the Connecticut Skywalkers?

I’d like to think that Ghost Luke will appear in Episode X to give Rey the Third Lesson. And then he’ll appear to Kylo Ren in order to troll him, just like Yoda trolled Luke.

Officer of the deck explicitly stated IN THE FILM that the Resistance ships were smaller and faster. There was LITERALLY dialog explaining this.

It was explicitly stated that the FO cruisers could keep pace but not catch up. It was said out loud. Maybe you missed that.

Because of reasons the writers could waste time making up but I’d rather they spent that time not catering to people who don’t know how to suspend their disbelief while watching a movie about space wizards with laser swords.

I don’t know, hmm, let me think. Could it be because it is spotlighting the old Bond films and their sexism?
