In an untold number of grammatically dubious social media posts, I’ve been informed that strict gun laws do not prevent gun violence. So...take your science and shove it where the sun don’t shine (because the sun’s orbit around to the underside of the flat Earth for the next few hours).

...mind stone.

The wear and tear is only one cost. Labor, property taxes, utilities, etc. are going to remain roughly the same.

And you’re blind if you think I addressed revenue anywhere in my comment. Take 10 seconds and read it again. I was addressing costs. Thanks for pointing out the obvious, though.

The gym analogy is flawed. Gyms’ costs aren’t proportional to their active user base; if in one month, 20% of their paying members are “regular” users - however you want to define that - and the next month, it’s 50%, their costs won’t increase in the same proportion.

The SLS would probably appear longer if they just shaved off those external boosters.

I guess you’ve never been camping in a rural area (for example, the Adirondacks) where it’s illegal to bring in/use firewood from more than a certain distance away from your campsite, precisely to reduce the spread of invasive pests.

Every lawsuit against the InfoWars guys discussed in this article is a civil action, not a criminal prosecution. And, no, you aren’t immune from civil liability for knowingly spouting off falsehoods that cause harm to the subjects of the falsehoods (especially when they’re not a public figure like a politician or

Agreed, but let’s not keep saddling Discovery with that complaint. The more successful the show is, the more likely it is that CBS produces another Trek show - which could fill that post-Nemesis/Voyager void.

An interesting hypothetical. I believe there are two ways the New Founding Fathers’ “justice” system could resolve that: (1) conspiracy charges are dependent on taking steps toward the effectuation of a crime; if you’re explicitly stockpiling weapons or taking other steps in anticipation of murdering/etc. during the

I’d like to know how many dump trucks of cash the producers used to get Marisa Tomei to join the cast. I get that she’s not exactly A-list these days but, still, she has an Oscar!

I can’t load the video at work, but what kind of onion did you use? It should be a sweet onion, like a Vidalia.

True, but it’s still a good movie. I’ve found that it seems better the more I watch it.

Uh... “Dishonest” and “Mischaracterization” would seem fitting. Let’s avoid the use of “fake news” to describe opinions (by definition, not “fake” or “news”) and save it for where a purported-journalist flat out invents a story? E.g., that guy who made an online newspaper and “reported” that there were piles of

It’s been a long time, getting from that show to this joke. But this joke’s time is finally here.

I was excited until they started to release trailers. Actually paying to see it in theaters sealed the deal. What’s sad is that they really could have made a decent movie - I did enjoy the depictions of a society rebuilt on the foundations of alien tech - but the writing was just god awful.

“Not adjusted” being the key phrase. (That’s not a knock on Black Panther; adjusted, it’s #40 all time at the domestic box office and looks like it could have the legs to go as high as #34-35.)

The stagnation of pop culture was an “undercurrent” in the book? I thought they were fairly explicit on that point.

His estate was valued at $10m, but if I had to guess, the jump from seven to eight digits was a fairly recent development. Perhaps sometime between Into Darkness and Beyond, by which point he was probably commanding a higher salary for his smaller films.

Any word on if there will be a Dinosaucers reference?
