The PS2 version always had lower res textures than the gamecube because of it's lower video Ram, iirc.

I already have the game, I would have bought it if it had something more than a coat of visual polish.

Is it actually running 1080p? Or upscaled 720p like most other 360 games (or lower in some cases)?
