Turbos or forced induction will be part of the future of base cars. My biggest concerns are about the longevity of a turbocharger. Is it still appropriate to tell people to let their car idle for a minute to run cooling oil through the turbo before turning off a hot car? (just off the highway, for example) I still

I don't really get the comparison. A Lumina Euro 3.4 sedan would have been a better comparison. Made in the same time frame, available 5 speed, twin cam 3.4 liter V6 with 210 hp. Seems like a much better comparison.

The only flaw here (and this applies for both the GN and the Sy/Ty twins) is an awesome engine was developed then shoved it into a platform that could not keep up with the engines potential.
