it’s not “slight”, there is a very large genetic component to intelligence, as there is with most other cognitive and behavioral traits. The exact heritability is going to vary from society to society.

I’m all about restricting voting rights, but if we ever get to the point where we’re deciding whom to give voting rights to, I don’t think parenthood would be anywhere near the top of my list of criteria.

No, it doesn’t mean that.

19 year olds are adults and can consent to sex. And can legally drink alcohol in most countries that are not America.

In most countries 19 year olds can legally drink (in some circumstances in England you can drink at 16). America’s drinking age is ridiculous and should change.

+1000 to that.

Good for Kate Moss!

Of course we’re defending it, since there’s nothing wrong with it (since the teenager in question is 18). Good for Kate Moss, and it would be great if more women were like that!

+1.

What's wrong with any of that?

I really think this is the hidden agenda of a lot of people (men and women).

There are probably a variety of reasons, but the biggest one is that women are in general more culturally conservative than men, except on gay rights.

This.

Why not?

+1 to this.

I want a world in which women are more enthusiastic about expressing their sexuality, not one where men are less enthusiastic about theirs.

There isn't anything degrading about having casual sex, and there isn't anything degrading about having sex (casual or otherwise) for money or resources either. In fact, it's one of the most natural reasons to have sex there is.

Disappearing dissident bloggers sounds like an excellent idea.

Ummm, I don't [particularly want someone 'financially secure'.
