CJHN: A unique perspective as an athletic but not so attractive woman:

I would not put Berserk on the list for a new anime watcher. I found it pretty awful. If you’re used to the nuance that GoT or Breaking Bad give to terrible events, situations or character, you just don’t find that in the Berserk anime.

Yeah, Buffalonians (a thing I’m sure) and Pittsburghers DO NOT think of themselves as ‘little brothers’ of their east coast cities. Go on. Ask someone from one of those cities. The standard reaction of upstate New Yorkers is ‘fuck NYC.’ The standard reaction of Pittsburghers is ‘we’ll let Philly have their shit sports

“MLS isn’t the best league on its own continent.”

Cosplaying is popular and part of fantasy/sci-fi culture. It makes sense to bring in cosplayers like any other artist, but not to the exclusion of other artists. I know someone who does her own costumes, and it’s fascinating work (http://www.artlolo.com/). It’s part of fandom, but only one of many. If I got magic

This isn’t a HEA type of story. I’ve made my peace with that.

Wait, so GoT is bad now? Didn’t get *that* memo.

Rankings are imperfect. This happens in most tournaments for every sport. FIFA sucks, but France still lost.

I just like to smell the corks. It doesn’t tell me how good the wine is, but you can smell nice things in red wine corks.

Yeah, these people exploited a loophole. They were dicks about it, but the resturant had OpenTable as an option (made a business decision), and at least one person in their party knew how to exploit it.

There’s also a reason teachers will say ‘close your eyes.’ When you’re not focused on how something should look, you can feel the pose out. That goes for a lot of athletic things.

I found the Red Wings fan!

I know someone who lived there.

The Western side of the state is nice.

UGHHHHH

I've had Chaider. It's quite good.

I went to a high school where they would refund you if you scored a 4 or a 5 on the AP tests. I told my parents to let me take 6 one year and they'd get all their money back. They did. For students that use them right, AP can be very useful.

My college courses were WAY harder. It depends on the college/university I guess. Also, the only AP scores I was allowed to use to test out of classes were my 5s.
