Back in my day we called that a "patriarchal bargain," I do believe.

What's confusing? She's for feminism for Christian women like herself, not for those slut-bags who want to sleep with her man, get pregnant and than abort the baby when all she's trying to do is make a nice comfortable home that her bf can enjoy- not like that skanky bitch Selene from Kappa who's always in those

Right, I can wear dresses every day, put on makeup, adore my boyfriend, make him dinner, appreciate the compliments he gives me and still fight to change inequality.

My roommate/good friend likes to say proudly that she hates feminism and she is not a feminist. The conversation usually goes like this:

Way to miss the point.

If I were a man and some woman piped up with "I'm not a feminist..." I would look her in the eye and say "Excuse me. MEN are talking here" and then ignore her for the rest of the evening.

I think this is the only time I've had penis envy.

Has anyone ever read that cheesy book The 5 Love Languages? I know, but I think it's kind of fascinating. Mine's physical touch with a dash of gift giving. I really found a lot of pleasure out of making my (now ex) dude a snacky snack, or grabbing him a beer and taking a little extra time to pour it into a chilled

I have a feminist necklace I like to wear. It's made of the severed testicles of every man who ever opened a door for me or told me I look pretty. Chivalry ain't dead, it's just castrated.

You seem...offended. Maybe take your own advice and calm the fuck down.

She obviously was looking to file this lawsuit when she applied for the job. This is someone (more likely an organization funding her) looking for a lawsuit to push their agenda.

So why doesn't Sara apply at one of the many hospitals/physician practices affiliated with the Catholic Church in the Tampa area? I'm sure they'd be happy to have her.

Why are so many nurses batshit insane and markedly unintelligent?

I have friends that are career servers who work in very high end restaurants in NYC (the types of places who require 10 years minimum exp. in similar restaurants), and while they can pay their bills they cannot afford to own a home or have children without going into scramble mode. Is this your idea of making bank?

I'm not against requiring restaurants to pay servers a living wage. Because, yeah, a lot of people are waiting tables and cheesy chains out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere middle America and making no money.

If by "bank" you mean "earning between 12 and 20k annually while only reporting 10-15k in income, then sure.

I work in restaurant administration (the benefits/payroll side of things) and actually, ACA is making tax-free tips near to impossible for employers to let slide, due to affordability requirements.
Most servers I know declare their tips - you need to make actual money on paper to rent an apartment, buy a house, get a

There is no server in existence making "bank" by only waiting tables alone. The average yearly income of waitstaff in the the US is roughly $20,000 a year, maximally 30,000. If by "bank" you mean "barely a living wage for a family of three" than I guess you're right.
