I have huge social anxiety, absolutely zero interest in multiplayer games, and I’ve put hundreds of hours into FFXIV. There’s two main reasons for this: 1) basic group content can be joined through an automatic party-formation tool that makes finding people to play with effortless and communication free, and 2) the

Something to keep in mind is that the actual interaction with party members is minimal because of how matchmaking works - for example you get to the first dungeon, you sign up for it and depending on role it’ll pop in 1 to 15mins. With the overwhelming majority of other players just wanting to get through things you

How do you fuck this game up so badly? One of the biggest IPs on Earth, anything Marvel, hell superheroes, still basically prints money, and this has been a colossal failure from day one. I mean, Anthem wasn’t as bad, Fallout 76 wasn’t as bad at this point, how did this happen?

Yeah, I have been using radial menus for a very long time, and the reason they are good is because with muscle memory a person can select an item, or a tool without ever looking at a menu. Its essentially an expansion of shortcut keys on pc, and an introduction to a decent amount of shortcut keys with a controller.

Every single thing they do to make the problem better just reinforces to me that I made the right choice in cancelling my WoW subscription after 15 years. Theyre just getting more and more tone deaf and showing they don’t get it.

I think there’s a certain merit in suing a character who has been nerfed into the ground that you paid very real money for.

It’s mentioned a few times in the decision: “Even in the absence of IAP, Apple could still charge a commission on developers. It would simply be more difficult for Apple to collect that commission.” “To the extent Epic Games suggests that Apple receive nothing from in-app purchases made on its platform, such a remedy

The only part where Epic won was a ruling saying that Apple was violating Cali’s anti-competition laws. The only change was that Apple cannot block/prohibit devs from communicating or providing links to payments that are outside of iOS. Which Apple already did a couple weeks back. So this case was very sided for

I think a lot of people are misunderstanding this ruling.  This is a near total loss for Epic.  If Apple decides to let Fortnite back onto the App Store, which they do not have to do, Epic will be able to use their own payment processing system.  But Apple is still entitled to their 30% cut of that revenue.  This

That’s exactly the fucking point. Borderlands absurdity is completely superficial — some meme guns and enemies that basically work for a one-off visual gag — and outside of that  it’s a dull paint-by-numbers game with terrible writing and awful humor. The stupidity isn’t in service of anything. SR4 was what

It’s quite extraordinary that the very many responses explaining this article is wrong are based entirely on their not liking big outlandish games. “But I didn’t like Saints Row 4 for being so silly, so this is a bad take.”

Yeah, I am a bit surprised by this response to be honest. You obviously would have a harder time taking it further than SR4 but you don’t always have to do MORE. You can make the satire and jokes hit harder, touch on darker/introspective/whatever ideas, make it closer to absurdist fiction if you want (in a

I disagree with basically everything John Walker writes on this site, and the one time he has a take I agree with the comments are roasting him for it. You couldn’t pay me to sit through a GTA clone, you can barely get me to sit through GTA, so SR1+2 did absolutely nothing for me. 3 raised an eyebrow, and I was all

Oh ffs can we all quit it with the “derp Transformers derp” shit? The alternative to whatever thing you stan doesn’t have to be whatever thing you consider lowest common denominator. “Dark, weird, raises a lot of questions” doesn’t equate to complex or meaningful or better.

For a lot of people this clearly functioned as a review.  I’d go further and say most reviews, especially of entertainment products, contain a fair amount of commentary.

I don’t much care if you were trying to be pedantic.  You’re being pedantic anyway, and you’re spamming your pedantry across half the comments on this thread.  To be frank, you’re being a nuisance.

Dude you’ve been spamming this line for a while. People are going to be sus.

One person disagreeing with you is a good reason to never read other opinions

Holy shit. Nothing I’d read about Twelve Minutes prepared me for a fiasco like this.
