The notch may be dead on the Pixel but damn the chin and forehead bezels look ugly.

I'll never understand people who got so worked up about the notch. It was a little extra screen space that otherwise is lost, what difference does it make.

Wow this is cool looking but I can’t help but think that this is not for me. I mean who is there target market for this thing? Is it just the tech enthusiast  or they going after the business folks? Is there really a demand for folding dual screens? Also touch screens? Most people I know hated the touch bar on the Mac

If they want this to succeed, they really need to get the OS and major app compatibility fully dialed in for it. I’m having doubts they can pull that off. I’ve been using a Surface for years, and while there are many thinks I like about it, it has always rather sucked in tablet mode due to software/UI issues. It may

You mean you can’t wait for Apple to make a version of this device that actually works properly and is polished. I’m forced to use a Windows laptop for work, I got a top of the line Dell last week and Microsoft can’t even get Windows to close the fucking lid of your laptop without draining the battery entirely. Maybe

Ummm, pass.

The old years of yore are quickly becoming antiquated. Developers now want continuous revenue streams vs a one-time lump sum. For those who want that “buy once own it” are quickly finding the Nintendo Switch as one of the few platforms remaining that support that sort of thing.

They’re subverting our expectations.

I think that Superman being so beloved is why a Kingdom Come Superman is so tragic and his ultimate return to form such a good story.

Superman 3 has to be canon because that’s when I first fell in love with Annette O’Toole. :)

This is just another in a long line of casting decisions that trigger such outrage for no other reason than they don’t look like what they’re “supposed” to look like. We’ve seen this before.

Windows have flavors?

Yeah, Marvel sometimes overcorrects on the ‘grounded’ aspect of things. One of my bigger disappointments with Defenders was it basically looked like Daredevil and three randos in jeans and t-shirts.

*sniff* *sniff*...what’s that smell? Oh, that’s the rotting corpse of Windows RT that I thought was doing its job as a cautionary tale for different flavors of “Windows”.

Looks so much better on mute

From the header, I thought it was something to do with Black Panther and the Dora Milaje.

I’ve gotta chime in and say that the Podrace itself remains a fantastic work of VFX. It’s still impressive all these years later.

Stormtroopers have always been anonymous.

The reevaluation of the prequels continues the perplex me. But this video does seem highlight some of the impressive effects work. The landscape in the pod race is utterly convincing, in part because it is an effect where you wouldn’t necessarily expect one, and the light effects of lasers through smoke are undeniably

Thank you! How embarrassing that I missed that.
