I can see the cases causing some problems but when did that become the phone's fault? Why not look at the way the cases are made before casting dispersions on the phone.

@WhatTheFrag: Actually it's 10k total. 5k in the EU and 5k in the US.

@senselocke: Glad to know I'm not alone. I remember being stuck in a factory navigating various elevators frustratingly searching for a way out but caught in a constant loop of up & down with little health or ammo.

WSJ. The 'cry wolf' newspaper of this century.

I got turned onto MotionX a few weeks ago and I can't believe I've gone this long without it.

@kd_rome: You pretty much confirmed my point but reading my comment again I realized what I should've said was that he's describing similar suggestion services like Netflix or Amazon but shot into the future by about 5 to 10 years.

@kd_rome: It sounds creepy but what he's essentially describing are getting ads and content based on browsing habits.

Why do I get the feeling that part of EA's delay is because someone got an alpha copy of the game and just quit after seeing how polished 2k11 is.

@rockman_x_2002: Agreed. Also, to sell a (possibly) $250 system without showing off the 3D is going to be tough.

@imrblankie: Thanks, but I don't smurf that way.

@FTH: Not sure if that's a compliment or insult as I have no idea what "grok it" means.

@rockman_x_2002: The problem there would be having to promote everything through print. And even a hologram wouldn't serve the system justice since the image can't (really) move.

I'm waiting for the inevitable 3D ad that will premier before a 3D movie where you have to wear glasses to watch the ad yet the promo will reveal that you don't need glasses to play the 3D system yet you need glasses to watch the ad for the 3D system because you can't see the 3D effects on the screen of the 3D system

@big_erk: I have to concede that you (another person that mentioned R&D) are absolutely right regarding R&D. That's how products are priced and chances are they spent tens of millions trying to get the 3D to work sans glasses.

@sereal: You're absolutely right. I forgot about R&D, which is always at the root of any pricing structure.

@goodbyebluesky: Reminds me of that scene from Chappelle's Show where he pissed on an attorney while on the stand and said it was digital piss.

Wow. Apple better watch out. This could actually compete with the iPhone/iPad as a do-everything type of device.

To answer the question: yes, it's too expensive.

You would think that a week before a games' release would mean that the only thing left to do was ship the product but I guess EA caught it in time (or maybe they didn't and now have a few million worthless DVD/Blu-ray cases and full-color manuals sitting in a warehouse waiting to be recycled).

Dick and balls.
