@Almightywhacko: You're kidding right? You're trying to tell a bunch of tech-hungry nerds to wait for an update?

@iScuba: But by not mandating that all Android phones have the same interface Google played a part in the market's fragmentation.

@katypee001: Here's the bottomline: regardless of what you think about what makes the iPhone inferior to your lovable Android phones is that Apple knows how to market their stuff and do in a way that's exciting, innovative and classy.

@katypee001: Almost forgot and if you're right then you win at least one argument but are you saying that Android phones are recognized just like iPhones? So I can sync playlists as well as manage my apps?

@katypee001: First off, iPhone hasn't been around 3 years longer, it's just 3 years old. The first Android phone was released in September of '08 putting the iPhone just about 18 months ahead. But the App Store didn't officially go into business until July of '08.

@Eltigro: Only if she's included.

You know if you put on a new tie with an old suit you get an entirely different outfit.

She might have the assets but is she nimble? Can she actually run with those fun-bags? I don't think I've ever seen her do anything more strenuous than get out of the pool.

I thought that was an awesome segment and I thought Olivia did a great job!!!

This just screams of "me too" and actually seems kind of desperate. The big difference with Bing's homepage is that it provides Flickr-like links based on the picture of the day making Bing images more than just a pretty face but actually a good learning tool. Imagine that, learning something on the internet.

@Delano_J: All of a sudden you find household items like spoons, broomsticks brushes in the living room doubling as swords, guns and microphones.

Wow! Haven't seen Wild Guns in well over a decade I'm sure.

Either the secret of Natal is that it's so unbelievably revolutionary that it will transform the industry as we know it today or it's the worst thing since sliced heads.

This was the industry I always imagined would get most impacted based on the book reading and inclusion of the iWork suite (albeit limited functionality) so that you could carry your assignments and books with you all in one snazzy form factor.

@Gringorilla: I'm actually on your side. I agree that I think Natal (I think they'll change the name to Xbox Freedom; you heard it here first) is probably a huge disaster and Microsoft doesn't want to admit it.

@Omegastrider Has laser eye beams: You're probably right. I can already see the commercials for it. People sitting a glass room suspended in midair as they pretend to eat breakfast from an invisible bowl; they bring the cereal to their mouths but with no spoon (milk dripping from the edge of the non-spoon).

Whatever they call it I just hope that the mystique and personality of Natal stays intact. But I bet the bean counters will probably want something easily recognizable and use words like "motion" or "movement" (well, maybe not movement).
