I have to agree with you. I was building PCs and before I knew was into a hobby I really couldn’t sustain. Hats off to those who can or are willing to do it, but I can’t do it anymore.

I think it’s possible to appreciate a man’s literary contributions, but to also hold a critique that doesn’t sweep his views and other writings under the rug of history. As the OP references, most of us who read him find his views deeply toxic.

Even his pen pal Robert E. Howard chastised HPL for his very specific views. Not every typical white male of the age enlisted in causes or wrote tracts that sincerely tried to scaffold views like HPL. He was a genius, but trying to saying it was just typical of his age should really try reading his political writing.

WotC, a subsidiary of Hasbro, has trimmed their core staff to a handful of people and consultants. They farm out the campaign books, which can stretch to dozens of evenings of adventures. Combined with player feedback from the D&D Next process can be summed: fewer splatbooks (i.e. new classes, new races, etc.) and

Well in my book, still waters run deep.

Clearly, you and your friends wore Rings of Radon Immunity.

It could be argued that the wearable is targeting teens and adults who just gave up on life

He would say so.

That would imply they were human beings with actual working emotions.

2019!

A bit better than the last Superman film where he trashes an entire city, but that’s another comment section.

A tale as old as time.
