Yeah, some of my friends have been over there for years and cant come home for funerals and whatnot. One or two did get deported which sucked for them as they were there for love rather than money.

Great list. Way too many people forget about the personal information side of things. Thankfully I dont live in a place where this sort of thing is an issue for me but I have been to places that have been hit by disaster. The binder of personal info gets waaay undervalued.

I suck at sewing but I got a super basic sewing awl made from a bike spoke and a wood handle and Ive used it so many times in the last two years to repair gear, clothes or flat out make shit. Im actually going to remove one of the crappy filler blades on my swiss knife and weld a proper awl onto it.

Im a person who gives not a fuck about music or musicians in general, but I still think this guy was awesome. I didnt really enjoy most of the music of his that Ive heard, but Ive been really impressed by all the stories of him as a human.
