This! I am from America and I have to do work in Canada some times.

HA! This is true in my experience. I should not laugh. I just can’t help but laugh. I am not originally from US. English is not my first language. I must do work all over world and many states in US.

I do not mean disrespect to you, but as someone not from US, I do not understand why people like Las Vegas. I live in US and have many assignments here. I travel to Nevada many times to do solar fields, mining, and even do work for local government in water system (I do medium voltage drives and motors).

Give me 3 months, I can turn you into a suicide bomber.

I apologize. English is neither my first nor second language. Any offense was not my intention and a failure on my part.

Americans are strange people.

I think like most Americans, you would not be able to handle the stress of working over 60 hours a week as a normal schedule.

Amazing.

I have experience working in Middle East. I am engineer for company outside of ME and I was contracted to work on very large port facility. I was brought in for 6 weeks of troubleshooting on network issue. I arrive and customer takes travel documents so I do 9 months of work.

The actual oil reserves in Venezuela is low quality heavy crude. For it to be sold in open market, it needs to be processed with light crude. One of the major trading actions between US and Venezuela over the years is importing light crud from the US so that Venezuela could effectively “cut” their heavy crud and sell

I do major construction project in Middle East once. It was not until I had left country that I blow whistle. If I do it there, I am dead man.

The check for a tell all book would be fucking huge.

Liberation Theology is a movement in Christian theology, developed mainly by Latin American Roman Catholics, that emphasizes liberation from social, political, and economic oppression as an anticipation of ultimate salvation. It was most powerful during the 50's and the 60's until heavy pressure on Catholic Church by

No worries. These type of discussions are difficult because it inflames feelings. Plus we only know well what we know. So like you are American, you think everyone is like American. If you Japanese, everyone is like Japanese.

You state truth. I work for Japanese company in US and do field work. When Colorado legalize marijuana, a number of our remote people ask to move. Most realized this is stupid idea. I think 2 sales people and field engineer move to Colorado.

My point, and I apologize because I do not use English on a daily basis, is that there is much attention on US military crimes for forward deployed units overseas compared to crime in local community.

No one is focused directly on the DPRK military. Concern is post collapse. Peaceful unification of Germany slowed EU economic development by about 20 years. Eastern Germany is still subsidized by Western Germany.

Rate of US military personnel committing crime is nothing compared to many countries. I came to US as teenager. Where I am from, it is very common for military units to just get their weapons but no pay.

I do a job at US facility. This is very old mill that makes plate steel. I am installing and commissioning new medium voltage drives to power new pumps for descale system.

Before Russia goes into Ukraine, I get sent by employer numerous times to work at various Russian sites. My employer did a lot of business with Severstal.
