I used to work in industrial setting involving nuclear power. Often times, sites like this, people focus on radioactive material when mixed waste is just as problematic. PCB’s, asbestos, mercury, etc.

I have to live and work in the Middle East many times in my job.
I do a job assignment in West Virginia once. This was for drive to power mine ventilation system. West Virginia reminds me much of Africa, where once do a steel mill upgrade. Very poor, very ignorant, highly suspicious, anti-intellectual, with many unwritten culture and societal norms.
I run into this many times at work. I like to work in US, but many times my coworkers do not recognize shit even when they see it. Many times, customers act dumb around me because of accent. Or they assume I am not US citizen.
I do many assignments in Detroit. I do drives and motors for Japanese company.
This I agree very much. I originally come to the US and live in Baltimore. I live in multiple states. Americans act like South is only place with racism. To me, Great Lakes region, Northeast, and Pacific Northwest (inland) is very VERY racist.
It is very funny to me as person that was born in another country but is now US citizen how racism is viewed around US. I have job that requires me to do assignments all over world, and I have worked in most of US states.
It is no different than what I go through in other countries.
I had a young sailor who’s mother was white and father was black. We called him “Dark Man” from the old Sci-fi movie. The main character could appear like anyone. My poor junior sailor, wherever we pulled in, the locals thought he was hated minority.
No worries. I am very used to this. When I was in military, many times new people would struggle with my accent. It is very important for Americans to realize we do not own prejudice solely. I do many assignments all over the world. It is fascinating to discover which groups the locals do not like. I work for Japanese…
Generally it is less risk depending on product shipped. It is easier for planes to get around poor weather than large container ships. With container ships, depending on port, thefts are higher. This is especially true in US, at non-automated port facilities.
America...what a country!
I do drives and automation. This involves many different production faculties all over the US and the world. It is very common for industrial sites to have practice of not using local water as a drinking source. I cannot think of a single facility I have been at in the last 20 years that did not have bottled water for…
I “took one for team” and intentionally followed an order to get an officer of the deck disqualified on a carrier.
So a teacher, that is responsible for over 200 students a day, is going to be able to pick up the signs of depression of an individual student better than the parent?
UCMJ is intentionally open ended. I once was charged with “Malicious Intent in Following a Lawful Order”...
You should read up on Charles Darwin and how the Origin of Species was received by the world. It is a very fascinating story.
If you look at statistics yes, they do not look like much advancement with non-traditional player backgrounds. I think though it is very important to recognize that even among normal path players, many do not advance very far.
He is white child, so this is news.
I do many assignments in California. The idea that California as whole is liberal state is very humorous to me.
