Ugh, my friends and family were doing that to my husband and I. We've been together for 10 years, married for 2. Now they're hounding us about babies. We don't want babies, we want to continue playing games until the wee hours of the morning together.

If she 'demands bling' then that's a huge red flag and you should probably get out of the relationship before you buy something for her that you can't afford. Live and learn, eh? ;)

They commissioned a local trapper to get them carcasses. If you think he didn't go get some fresh wolves because people from Hollywood were his clients, you're pretty naive. I live in BC, I know the hunters here.

Your view of the world is very happy and equal. That's not how it works. All you need to do is look at the "gamer girl" controversies, or head on over to Fat, Ugly, or Slutty. Women feel like "others" because they are treated as others. As someone who started gaming in the 80s, and was brought into it as a child

I never understood the console/PC wars. I like gaming, and there are different games across all platforms. Some are good, some are bad, and I like to play them. I've had consoles and PCs my whole life.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head right there. The fun lasted 3 days for me, and then all of my friends stopped playing it and I had no desire to play it alone. I can't believe I wasted $60 on that game.

Ugh. I will only tolerate this if it's a part of the holodeck experience.

Which is you further expanding the point I made. We have a long way to go.

He was the first President of the United States, he could have abolished slavery in the Constitution from the start. He did not. The Founding Fathers were, by and large, slave owners. They OWNED human beings. In no universe is that okay.

This is pretty much the only thing in the entire presentation that made me want to play it. It looks like a lot of fun.

Hated it. As someone involved in wolf rescue and conservation, I find the entire premise of it damaging to social perception of the species. I was also very disappointed in the cast and crew having wolves hunted not just for props, but also to eat.

Objectification is worse than neglect. I find it strange that in all of those companies represented, none of them had any women in "qualified positions" to speak. That says a lot about the industry as a whole. Women are still feeling as 'others' in the gaming crowd, and not enough of them are pursuing game design.

The audio keeps cutting out on this racing game presentation. And then buffering, buffering, buffering.

People get their knickers all in a twist when I bring this up. Yeah, the dude started your country, laid the groundwork for things like CIA, and gave liberty and freedom to white, male landowners. Everyone else was worth nothing. The natives, women, slaves? Not even worth a thought.

A Christian nation that does the opposite of Christ's teachings is my favourite kind of hypocrisy. Apparently Jesus only matters when it comes to vaginas.

I played all of this before I finished the main quest, so my review of AC3 already had all of this as a part of it. If you rush through the game and do only the main quest, you're missing out on a whole lot of backstory and fun quests. I liked Connor, maybe not as much as Ezio, but I liked that he was his own

In this context? No. Advocating for the rape of these girls while also accusing Luke Plunkett of being a rapist is reprehensible.

I hope you get to experience just how funny it is to feel violated and disgusting. How funny it is to never feel clean, to be afraid and sick with anger. Then we'll all laugh it up.

I'm going back to PC after having been almost exclusively a console gamer since the 80s. The new consoles do nothing for me, this generation was bad enough with ridiculous fees, shitty hardware, and egregious ads. They were barely making it worth the money this generation, all indications are the next one will be even
