Well, damn. The Steam Deck isn’t something that I’d rush out to buy but getting one for free would be pretty nice. Especially since it’s most ‘spensive one. Guess they’re getting me to watch the stupid Game Awards this year. Or at least have it on in the background while I watch something else that isn’t a soulless

I’m talking about out.

Basically yeah, and then the last great NFS game came out with Hot Pursuit 2 and that was it for me.

We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games’ performance.

As a general rule, if the survival elements aren’t causing any stress, you don’t actually HAVE survival elements, you just have some mildly annoying busywork at times. The whole point of survival elements is that they need to cause you stress, with the possibility of your game just being fucking over because you

I’m sure they’ll find new and innovative ways to continue the proud legacy of having that one goddamn character in every Bethesda game.

in space they’re called colonies.

You’re alone on the ship, you’re out of fuel. You desperately search around the few asteroids in the system scavenging what little you can find. But you’ve stayed too long. You hear the footsteps, he’s here. And all that fills you is dread as they speak.

Naw, Nintendo knows exactly how 95%+ of their community functions. You know how many Nintendo customers care about the pro smash scene? <1%.

Not necessarily. There was a lot of allegations against all the highest PR players in the Smash community that involved pedophilia. Also the organization “VGBC” when pressed on it (granted by mostly just one well known YouTuber named Technicals) refused to acknowledge a ban on a player named “Nairo” who was confirmed

Yeah that was a bit eye catching when I read that.

Nintendo invited them to get a license and then they failed to get one? something doesn’t add up

I use the back buttons for saving and loading states, fast forward etc. Then default was like select + other keys and that meant triggering the function of those keys when trying to fast forward.

OK I forgot him that’s def one more.

Alan Moore is rolling in his coffin.

there will be no endorsed videogame adaptions of the Mystery Flesh Pit as long as I am alive.

(though if portable emulation is your sole use case, then there are superior/cheaper options).

Not sure what’s up with that, but the Deck should “sleep” just fine. I tap the top button, it does that little blinky/wave thing and sleeps. I tap it again, it’s right back to where it was in seconds (lit. 3 seconds, I just tried it).

The battery does drain in sleep mode, albeit more slowly than usual. And battery

I generally agree with this article, but as both a Deck and Switch owner, I’ve discovered that there are strengths of both.

I dont think its everything to everyone, a lot of Witcher is RPG investigation, exploration and dialog rather than just action so it can be slow paced for several hours before an intense few minutes then back to slow pace again.
