Wouldn’t surprise me if a mid-cycle upgrade like the PS4 Pro/One X ditches them entirely

This will probably be the last generation with a disk drive in the console... if not, for sure the next one.

Canonically, Black Widow doesn’t speak like Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle because she’s a spy. Spy would be pretty useless if every time she spoke you’d go yep, she’s a Russian spy.

Pretty sure they've started all characters are free.

So a single player game with a 10-15 hours campaign at $60 with no replayability with potentially paid DLC is ok with you but a $60 with a 10-15 hours single player campaign with tons of multiplayers content added on top of it and free DLC is not ok.

The game is not going to be release on the switch. Why would they do that...

Holy crap, those subtitles.

and not selling out so a bloated corporation that trades off the name to crank out crappy games- that’s rare, isn’t it?

In which Epic tries to get the kids all worked-up against one of the few things fellow mega-corp Apple has done well — setting up a walled garden to prevent shady app developers from allowing in-app purchases with no quality control or protections. But don’t worry, they’ll say it’s really about the 30 percent cut

I expect that kids wouldn’t be familiar with the Apple ad but I wonder if some would be familiar with the 1984 reference.

But half the damn internet is devoted to its own little Two Minutes of Hate. Certainly Kotaku is a big proponent.

It’s a minority stake as in, it’s a stake other than the majority stake of Epic, but it’s also worth noting that the minority stake in question is 40% of the company.

Yes, but Epic’s CEO sided with Blitchung and supported a free Hong Kong during that controversy last year. If China (or a Chinese company) actually had any tangible influence over Epic they would have flipped their shit and did everything they could to destroy Epic. But none of that happened. It’s just the bog

I just enjoy how no one in the group of people who made and approved that advert stunt have ever read the material it’s actually based on given it’s based on the section of 1984 called”Two Minutes Hate” where the citizens of Oceania watch a video screen playing propaganda comprised of scenes of the enemy which they

I could be misreading this, but that sounds like the most intense burn I've heard in a long while. Super into it.

A Chinese holding company (TenCent) owns a minority stake in the company while Tim Sweeney himself owns the majority of the company (more than 50%).

You know, at one point I think this place had a section which hosted entire video clips edited together with some humorous commentary and/or music, and not just screenshots...

They still look bad. The art style just sucks. everyone looks like a slightly out of shape middle aged dad cosplaying.

You know what Disney’s (and by extension Marvel’s) fucking problem is with this shit? They have such a deep attachment to and fear of their Marvel MCU that if unrelated marvel products (like this, their recent cartoons, MvC:I, etc) don’t end up looking like the MCU or emulating it, they’ll fear the audience won’t
