But that's the thing, it's not just the ideas. It's the same developers making literally the same games over and over again. And people reward them for it!

I guess I just don't see anything to be excited OR hyped about anymore. Everything just feels like the same stuff over and over again. Even Bloodborne, the one E3 game that captured my attention, is a spiritual sequel.
