detective pikachu is more or less a straight adaptation of the videogame ‘detective pikachu’ though—a game that may be heavily influence by the anime, but is nevertheless... a videogame.

having never bought or played the original game i recently played the remake and was amazed by the visual fidelity and motion capture, which is among the best available. so it was weird to follow it up by playing the 2020 sequel which now looks notably inferior.

Elden Ring came out 10 months ago!

i don’t believe this to be true. she obviously has a hateful and outmoded worldview but i don’t think she’s celebrating murders.

i was looking for this one. i’m glad you mentioned it, as it’s probably my favourite of his later cameos.

racing sims. at least, that’s what i alternate off of in between playing soulsborne games.

lmfao

oh you’re outraged, you say?

...and now he’s leaving the series, so you should be happy, correct?

i’m guessing Ash is rapidly dying from cancer, due to his proximity to so many  nuclear grade energy blasts.

i have the Corsair MP600 PRO LPX with 7100 read/5800 write and the witcher 3 boots in two seconds from the title screen.

so you’d rather enjoy yet another war on terror/9/11 allegory with men in tights beating the shit out of eachother?

so let’s sum it up: “my fictional little abstract light show better look like real people, i can’t stand it when my fake stories don’t look real!”

“oh kids will be kids.” yes, well, sometimes kids these days take loaded guns to school and kill their classmates. and frankly this incident was only one or two mistakes away from that kind of thing happening.

the show was one bad decision away from a mass shooting from some psychotic teenager and apparently you’re cool with that.

i thought he really classed up the ceremony personally. he set the tone for the others who followed, collectively giving everyone permission to act like human beings and less like the corporate drones they typically come off as.

this guy sounds like a loser who is pinning the blame for his failure on folks with a lot less power and influence than him. just make an interesting game, scumbag.

man, i dunno. glass onion was kind of over-worked, and benoit blanc kind of disappeared in it at times. and i found myself asking, “oh, who the fuck is this guy again?” the tension of the story felt threadbare and the themes felt all of a sudden far too heavy for the light characterizations at hand.

you are coming across as psychotic

biggest disappointment was Made in Abyss S2 by a mile. like, they had every opportunity to address the bloated and often incoherent storytelling of the village arc but they not only adapted every storytelling flaw faithfully, but they compounded it with truly bizarre structural decisions.
