i think that sony’s acquisition of square enix is basically inevitable at this point. but it seems kind of pathetic, in a way. square enix, from an outsider’s perspective, should be a powerhouse, independent developer.

In previous years, there were simply not enough games on the console to justify having folders.’

is misreading a game the same thing as the game saying something unintentional? does a game need to account for every unique form of media illiteracy?

true story: my wife is from Kowloon! she was only a very young child when she lived there, but her memories were not miserable. her family lived there to save money and every day travelled across the bay to Hong Kong island to work.

this game is literally just a disability tax. like, the increased accessibility is their justification. should be a free update on the old edition.

they had a decade to turn things around already, and they haven’t. i’m not sure buying a bunch of studios is going to change microsoft’s corporate thinking. each of these developers is eventually going to have to buy their independence, IO Interactive style, in order to make anything good again.

to be honest, this is what’s fun about the game’s lore—that it’s indeterminate. i’m 100% sure that this lore was written with that knowledge in mind as well—after all, these folks have probably spent hundreds of more hours than you dwelling on this topic.

so there’s some white guy who call himself the anime pope? this is the least surprising thing ever. at least he’s not calling himself the emperor of anime.

i’ve yet to get a tattoo, but if it were to happen it would probably be one of the many symbols from Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring (yes, I know that many of them are from Berserk, you don’t have to tell me that). however, i realize that they’re kind of popular so i’d need to figure out how to make it look extra

i’m not inferring that it sold poorly. i genuine don’t know.

that actually makes a lot of sense.

maybe TLOU PT2 didn’t meet internal sales expectations?

i agree with what you’ve said, except that malinger is misused here. it means:

the difference is that Nightdive paid money to license the game. the fan made version was a reverse engineered remaster done for the love of the game, had no money involved, and the fans were probably only allowed to do so under the condition that if they succeeded in their work, Alcon would receive the profits from

to be honest, that video was so difficult to sit through, lol! people need to reconcile themselves to the fact that the mario they think they want is not necessarily a good thing.

as an 80's kid, this is how he’s always sounded to me. the martinet voice is the “new” and non-canonical voice to me, lol.

considering that charles martinet’s dialogue is only ever about half a page long, and mostly consists of simple sounds, and that his accent can be produced by just about anyone with the right amount of shamelessness, i don’t think he’s quite the obvious choice for casting a feature length film.

i feel like Cruz could be doing more with his time. until i remember that his entire raison d’etre is to stall literally any and all socially beneficial legislation. so i guess it makes sense that he wastes taxpayer dollars playing FTP games, probably while he’s getting the Boebert Special.

we’re maybe only a year away from a PS5 slim. a ps5 pro will then follow two years after that.
