you say this like it’s a problem. somehow it works here, and i don’t just throw this excuse around for every big dumb film. it probably works because it’s been edited so rigorously that i’m never offended by it.

i loved it. i thought it finally, absolutely nailed what was great about the early godzilla films—the imaginative action—and was pleased that it wasn’t moronically “heavy” like KoTM, nor did it try to equal G14's austere formalism.

a rather unsubtle acknowledgment of the real-world despair created by the political and social climate at the time.’

it will be fortnite with a halo paintjob.

wow, you somehow spun this into a feel-bad controversy. the movie is out. it’s over.

Fire and Ice and LotR set the standard...for rotoscoping. not for animation in general. because rotoscoping is just a lazy, low-budget technique that is used when a production can’t pay to make a live action film, or employ hand animators who use their imaginations and not just video reference.

witness is my crack. highly recommended.

interesting stuff, but i far prefer the final script and performance. that voice actress is so distinctive, i hope she’ll be back to elden ring.

the georgia senate run-off happened like a month and a half after the presidential election. it wasn’t biden and harris’ platform, although they did strongly encourage people to vote for the georgia democratic senators.

if you google it, you’ll see the 1400 + 600 split was being discussed by congress at the end of december, a full month before biden could even bring it to the table in any official capacity. it was basically trump’s plan, inherited by biden.
