Yeah the choice is rather clear, between the console and publisher with a catalogue of compelling franchises and developers, who devotedly invested in making great games for the last decade without letting up, and the Xbox’s generic crap.

Don’t get your identity politics mixed up with buying a 300-500 dollar video game console. You sound, charitably, stunted.

I’m kind of over the shock of the characters appearances at this point. Probably happened around the same time I stopped expecting this game to be any good.

no it’s not, child. it’s apple’s platform. there are more platforms than apple’s available to develop for. 

it’s not a monopoly. this isn’t some essential service we’re talking about here, and iphones aren’t the only mobile devices that can play the game. apple developed and maintains their ecosystem, they get to decide the entrance fee.

just because it’s a “callback” doesn’t mean it’s brilliant, nor does it make you special for recognizing the homage. it is, in fact, all rather obvious.

the future you’re dreaming of is maybe ten years out at best. xbox series x is not it. 

my recently purchased ps4 pro has crashed several times lately, but i think that’s just the witcher 3. nothing else fucks it up like that. 

which really begs the question of the series x’s entire existential purpose. it’s notable that the xbox one x has already been discontinued in manufacturing. microsoft is slow walking their console to the gallows.
