Makes sense. Sub-Zero is the coolest character in Mortal Kombat after all.

Excited for this.
which briefly made us wonder if we were being too nitpicky.
Any episode with Callisto or Autolycus. They made the show last longer than a simple fighting Xena series.
Best overall: The Debt.
As someone who really dislikes torture porn, I have to strongly disagree. The first movie was genuinely good. And 3 and 4 told really interesting stories with great twists despite being bogged down by gore. 6 was on the low side of mediocre, and 5 had one single good idea in it that should have been in the rest of the…
“Reboot” is the new “literally”. It hasn’t strictly meant reboot for a long time, and just gets thrown around for any change in the status quo that might look like a jumping on point if you squint hard enough.
So “Spiral” is a reboot but leads in to a sequel to the original which means it’s not a reboot at all.
I want Saw X to be like Jason X — take the series into space. Have entire spaceships filled with traps. Have the Galactic Federation try to figure out who this new “Space Jigsaw” is by sending a lone Space Detective who, of course, gets trapped in a Saw Spaceship.
2 is a waste despite some cool twists. 3 feels like a good conclusion for the series. 4 is a surprisingly good continuation for the series that fits well in the series despite 3 feeling like the end. 5 is boring and kind of predictable. 6 is better but a bit hamfisted in its message. 7 is a garbage pile that…
I remember I muscled my way through the second one and realized quickly it was straight-to-DVD, made-for-Syfy-tv quality. Even though I never watched another one afterwards, I caught bits and pieces of various sequels on cable and they pretty much reaffirmed my stance that they’re all indistinguishably the same . But,…
Yeah, I’m baffled by the thought that the fact that WB mandated (by contract) a 2 hour film and that they were totally unhappy with what Snyder had done (and planned for 3 hours) that somehow the changes are due to the obvious hired-gun they brought in to do what they wanted...
Hang on a sec, I think I see the problem... BvS needed an extra half hour on a theatrical cut that ran 152 minutes which would put it at, what, 3 hours? The recent Snyder cut is an excellent representation of the film they set out to make at a whopping 4 hours and 2 minutes?
I did watch those, and I’ll continue to watch further entries, but I felt they were kind of bland.
I’m honestly shocked that WB/DC/whoever hasn’t done some kind of continuation of the 2011 series, especially after the success of Young Justice on the service. At the very least a wrap-up movie.
A life well-spent, if you ask me.
To be fair, it absolutely deserves trashing.
I sooooo hated that show! So much so that I never bothered to finish watching it and I only had like two to three episodes left too.
However, what I do sorely miss about ‘Under The Dome’, back when I posted here as ‘Methos’ or some variation thereof, were Charlie Jane Anders amazzzzzzzingly entertaining episode recaps,…
I understand that, but I also am realizing how much Disney is informing an entire generation and it can be both our perceptions. It did not feel like two kids to me, especially when the humour was the men having to put their legs in each others crotch. That was the joke. I think it’s aware of the discomfort, and maybe…
That’s fascinating, but what the fuck is that lead image?
