In my opinion, you could skip Seasons 6 (Roanoke) & 7 (Cult) but everything else is absolutely worth the time.

Jessica Lange turned into my favorite actress sometime around season 3 of the show.

There’s a possibility the Disney buyout make that not canon (in fact, that’s probably the case), but I know for certain that prior to that, it was canon. Once Palpatine managed to become supreme chancellor, that’s when he killed his master while he was sleeping... he got as far as he could with Plagueis’ help and no

Your JJ answer is one of them, for sure.

But I also think even from a natural storytelling standpoint, it would make sense and stand to reason that the Outer Rim would be more likely to have less habitable (or at least comfortable) environments than those closer to the socio-political center of the Galaxy, largely

Valid concern.

Terra forming seems a sci-fi enough answer to that.

There have always / often been dark side force users who weren’t officially “Sith”, some/many even followed the “sith religion” but weren’t actually Sith themselves.

Palptine was still Plagueis’ apprentice during Phantom Menace, and so there’s some question as to whether or not Maul was truly a Sith apprentice,

#2 The Milky Way is estimated to have over 100 billion planets. If even 0.001% of those planets are desert planets, that’s 1 million desert planets. If only 0.001% of those desert planets could sustain life, that’s 10 inhabitable desert planets... and the lore of Star Wars seems to suggest that any rocky or water

I suspected I saw the Ghost in all of those ships, but there was so much going on it was hard for me to be sure.

I know Filoni has sorta hinted that Rey hearing Ahsoka among all of the other dead Jedi doesn’t mean she’s dead... but until we see otherwise, I have to assume she wouldn’t have been on the ship.

Hera would

If a substantial amount of the film had been dedicated to recreating those shots or replaying them, I’d absolutely agree. But we’re talking probably fewer than 5 minutes total out of 152 minutes of the film.

I’m curious for the extended cut to see where the extra time is used, too :)

The omission of those made it hard for me to get very far in the article. And because they’re “cartoons” doesn’t make them any less valid or awesome of a contribution to the franchise.

Hell, 75% of Ep3 was probably “animated” too.

The Mandalorian just confirmed to the wider Star Wars audience what those of us who

I took a lot of the shot recreations, and Rose the Hat seeing these things, was indicative of the powerful psychic energy (the Shine) being left behind... the hotel’s consciousness, its memories, and her sensing/seeing that all around her. I thought it was a nice touch, myself, and enjoyed the call backs to really tie

Just a note on balance... the prequels and George Lucas clearly defined balance in the force not as an equal amount of light and dark, but the absence of the dark. The dark side is an unnatural, aberrant corruption of the natural state of the force. Imagine it like the calm surface of a lake... it has balance. The

Also, it’s gotta be just the one season right?

Be thankful they didn’t go the route of the book and go further into detail about Dick’s sexual abuse at the hands of his (father or grandfather) and subsequent haunting by the ghost of this man that led to Dick figuring out how to lock them away in a box in his mind that he then passed on to Danny.

The movie could

I understand where you are coming from on that, however, if you aren’t familiar with the book, there’s very specific reasons for them going this route in the movie.

In the books, the Overlook burned down at the end of the Shining as Jack came to his senses just long enough to make sure the boiler blew and the hotel

Meh, I’m pretty sure it got cancelled because season 2 was hot garbage.

This is one reason why I advocate heavily toward canceling something like Netflix when they give shows you like the axe. They assume once they get someone to subscribe, they got ‘em, so yeah, its far less of a concern for them to keep existing customers happy as it is to get new sign ups.

That was a flaw of TFA.

I have a boring office job, what would I do with all those muscles?
