I never doubted it either. Had I not slipped up and saw a trailer with MJ telling Peter that she knows he’s Spider-Man, that would have probably been the most surprising thing to me within the context of the main film. But even going into it “knowing” that Mysterio was full of crap and that the elementals were his

Same thoughts, exactly.  Updating the visuals would keep in line with the show and help sell more toys, so that’s a win-win.

Yeah, I loved the movie, and the Costume/Zord designs were really my only issue.  Like the show, update all of that to sell more toys for the sequel and “fix” the lackluster designs from before.

Totally agree. I was a huge fan of the original (even to the point of, as an adult now, collecting quite a bit of MMPR collectibles) and I loved the movie. Everything felt appropriately updated to me, I loved how much time they spent out of their suits actually becoming a team.. I looked forward to seeing more

I haven’t been keeping tabs on Disney movie lineups, but it certainly feels closer to 80 - 90 percent of their current movie strategy, 33.333333...% seems low.

I don’t even need her to be better than Mitch... I just need her to unseat him and his grip (and position as head of) the Senate.  As another commenter said, even another conservative Republican would be ok.

I was about 17 when the film came out, and I hadn’t heard much of it leading to its release, other than insistence from anyone that spoke about it that the film was real... so naturally, I bought it.

It’s one of those things that was a perfect storm at exactly the perfect time. Any earlier, you couldn’t have reliably

This is a putting all of the WarnerMedia stuff in one basket rather than have HBO where you go to see their originals, and the current Warner Movies, plus the TNT/TBS sites to watch older WarnerMedia shows and movies, plus Netflix, plus Hulu.

When dealing with Skrulls?  Yes, that’s entirely possible.

My understanding is that generally unless specified otherwise, a “day” as a measurement refers to Earth-days, even when referring to other celestial bodies.  So, I read this article as “this asteroid’s year lasts 151 Earth days”.

Yeah, if its just grimdark slog, I’ll tap out REAL quick.

I held onto TWD for so long because I had so much time invested into it, but I gave up on Fear TWD after the 2nd season.  Apparently I’ll be much quicker to drop a subpar spinoff, and I imagine I won’t be alone in that sentiment.

My argument against “no one would believe it” is: Anti-Vaxxers. The fact that we are seeing these diseases returning in the numbers they are is proof that a “greater than fringe” group of people will buy into completely ludicrous BS. Even with evidence to the contrary, how many people STILL believe Obama is a secret

Called it!

Phew, glad they killed the reboot! I was worried that the new Chucky movie wasn’t going to be related to the originals! Glad to see It chapter 1 and 2 and Pet Semetary are all continuations of the old stories, and I’m thrilled that Death Wish is a sequel to the original, same with Escape from New York, Scarface... I

The only romantic interest they had with Widow was Hulk. There might have been some very benign flirting between Widow and Rogers in the Winter Soldier, but she was never “with” him. Likewise, they never had Widow “with” Hawkeye either... they were very close, but they never portrayed it as romantic, and it was

It’s about a woman coming to grips with a body altered by a patriarchal clergy desperate for a weapon to ward off their fading influence, a group that uses her powers to clean up their mess even if it costs her humanity. It’s about stopping a cycle before it has the chance to become one, about self-determination and

Like practically every other movie in the 80s and early 90s?

If she were “helping” children that otherwise wouldn’t have had ANY chance at any REAL medical treatment, you might have a point, but she was actively pulling children away from REAL doctors and REAL medical facilities so that she could “play doctor” on them.

Then... don’t watch them?

That’s one thing that was great about the Netflix shows was it was a vastly different approach within (sort of) the same world. If “dark and gritty” didn’t do it for you, then you aren’t missing any important connective tissue by skipping.

Those of us that loved the tone had Marvel branded
