Apparently he just plain didn’t understand why they were laughing. He honestly thought they just started laughing when he gave his speech, you know, the “they’re laughing with me”, so when he said that bit about reaction, and they laughed again, he just assumed they’re sort of cheering him on.

I love how these idiots don’t think through things like “maybe keeping an apex predator so perfectly designed to kill that it hasn’t had to evolve past its current form for millions of years in my home” is a bad idea, then make it everybody else’s problem.

I’m sorry that you’ve been in the position where self harm seems like a good idea. I’ve been there before and it’s not a fun or healthy coping mechanism, but it’s where you end up when you’re at your limit.
