Jesus. Didn't Jaguar do this twenty years ago with the XJR-15?

Maybe when Apple stops being the most influential tech company on the planet, when they stop being the most valuable tech company on the planet, when they stop being newsworthy on a daily basis, and when people stop coming to Giz for that news.

This isn't about a car.

My dad built for me a Tamiya model of an A-6A Intruder when I was a kid.

My sentiments precisely. With today's engineering, materials and manufacturing tech, there's absolutely no reason they couldn't have made something much closer to the Sixteen.

Not sure if you're intentionally misquoting the film, but Lizardo's actual line was "Jesu Christo, make the ganglia twitch."

Your ganglia must be twitching over this post...

What's spectacular about the video is that it ISN'T spectacular. No bounce, no bangs, no 'splodey stuff. This pilot was so deft on the controls, the whole thing was almost serene.

"I know how this one ends."

No. NO! They're NOT superheros. They're just reg'lar humans, SHIELD administrators. Nick Fury is an office manager full of attitude. Coulson is his admin assistant. They're not superheros, they're just cool. Maria Hill ISN'T a superhero, she's just badass.

I maybe missed something here. Who are the "8 superheros"?

Andrew:

Right? Still, I've got Princess Bride and The Tall Guy on DVD, so I can watch his silliness whenever...

Thanks, that's what I thought. I just acquired a 1:18 Autoart model of the Espada. They did a very nice job. It's probably the closest I'll get to the hippy-dippy Marzal.

Am I correct in assuming that the Marzal concept led to the production Espada?

Hey, that's good to know. And surprising, may I say.
