The fact that this judge thinks there’s actually an argument to be heard here is, frankly, frightening. 

This absolutely warrants nastiness. The fact that the First Amendment does not guarantee *this particular dude* the absolute right to have *this particular speech* heard by *this particular woman* is so absolutely clear it can be dismissed on the pleadings. This judge’s actions are appalling.

This is the correct (and only) response.

Uh, why not just call both “parent”? For fuck’s sake.

It was surprisingly not-bad. A little amateurish, but good pacing and a decent enough storyline - though at times it felt a bit like Jessica Jones cosplaying Erin Brockovitch. I can’t decide if she had a brilliant editor who turned straw into gold, so to speak, or if she did most of that on her own and a better editor…

Okay, so, like 70% of the dialogue and plot in Friends is straight trash - homophobic, sexist, fatphobic, just plain mean in a variety of ways - but somehow it doesn’t feel that offensive? Mostly just eye-roll-y?

Their answer to this was a little “reserved” sign on the coffee table, which is almost worse than just not addressing it, because that would NEVERRRRR work. One of those just-suspend-disbelief things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
