I hate how they are doing bait and switch.

I was in the hairpin to (on exit side). Great race. What a noise.
You are not alone. It was a great design and the advertising was moving. I was too young to be in the market for a luxury sedan at that point, but with the 300ZX TT, the Maxima, and the Sentra SE-R on the sports and economy performance end, Nissan had a great lineup.
As a team owner in both an entry level professional spec class (Mazda MX-5 Cup) and the Continental Tire endurance series , I can confirm that not only are the numbers in the ball park, but that unfortunately, much of the costs apply regardless of the level of pro racing. Logistics and transportation, crew expenses,…
Amen
Some would like to make it appear that it is impossible to build a legal engine within the rules. That is not true.
This 08 S4 Avant 6-speed owner would buy one if there was a manual. Otherwise, keeping current car.
They only need one sensor to tell them how they are doing these days ... a lap timer.
I've raced the course in 2007 and looking forward to doing it again this week. It's one of the best street courses there are.
What's that funny-looking shiny thing between the seats that he keeps touching?
I've been in that situation twice. Experience dictates that when you see that coming, you need to be ready for the worst. One-handing it will unfortunately not cut it. You need to have the presence to expect that move and be ready to have to turn into the car before you get punted.

Totally warranted. I'd have postcards made.
Lebanese are good at road racing too! Kanaan, Rahal, etc. Many of us in the lower pro ranks do ok too. ;-)
As a seasoned road-racer, I can attest that the Kink at Road America is easily the most terrifying corner I have encountered. No, not the corkscrew (its not nearly as hard as Turn 6 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca...). The challenging corners are generally fast corners at the limits of adhesion. Other corners that are…
Another reason to hate California's dumbass lawmakers. They already don't allow you to mount your phone or GPS to the windshield. Now you can't navigate through the phone. I guess everyone should line up for mass lobotomies and just drive around like a zombie. So glad I don't live there anymore.
You guys are easily amused...
This is BS. They don't even price match THEIR OWN WEBSITE!
