I ended up buying a Mitsubishi DLP because I had room for something large. A really large DLP isn't that much more expensive than a smaller LCD or Plasma. I got an 83" set for $2100.

@Greetings. I am Wu.: It's weird. See that green bubble all the way to the right? That's Boston and it includes me. I signed up for Comcast's Triple coverage and dropped Verizon. My bandwidth is better than DSL, I get almost 500 channels, 200 are excellent HD with Dolby 5.1 sound, my phone service is more stable

Bill Clinton probably would have scored a date.

@Grindhouse Murders: Next rev has to be battery powered so you can take it on a plane. I see this one is a portable, that's a carrying handle on top, right?

@technoindigo: You think naked models are going to start marching around Afghanistan? I'm sure Al Qaeda is staying up nights worrying about that!

I like use Latitude from Google Maps to let my wife know where I am. One time, my GPS sent me into some heavy beach traffic on a Saturday afternoon. I called my wife at home and she checked where I was using Latitude. She could zoom Google Maps out and quickly give me advice about alternate routes.

Apparently, the bigger the slide rule, the more accurate the calculations. When you did really important calculations, you grabbed a buddy and

@CABEZAGRANDE: In 1988, I bought a Carroll Shelby Dodge Daytona. I doubt Carroll Shelby ever even saw one but because it was such a limited production run, the package didn't appear on the insurance company's forms. I paid the economy car rate on that car.

I think I-70 is a lot more interesting.

You can leave honey on your shelf for years and it won't deteriorate. We shouldn't eat honey?

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: The articles I read said he was suspected of being involved in "child endangerment" but was arrested for not giving up his password and only for not giving up his password. I'm really mixed about this. The police should be able to get a search warrant and if judge thinks it is

@bobkoure: Using Speed Test to test throughput, I was usually getting like 1M transfers with a transponder. With DD-Wrt on an old wrt56g, I'm getting 8-10 M transfers. I'm also not having nights when the network doesn't work at all and I spend a half an hour rebooting everything, so I guess it feels like I'm

@bobkoure: I loaded DD-WRT on an old router and configured it to be a repeating bridge. It's only about 10 times stronger than a self contained repeater or transponder.
