@kelbear: I always thought Cambridge Soundworks was really cool because they used to include decent speaker wire with their speakers and advise you strongly on not spending a lot of money on speaker wire.

@elementary: It depends on what is important to you. The speakers for my home theater sound the best about four feet from the back wall. I think the whole setup looks great, the speakers are surrounded by piles of equipment and there's an 83" TV sitting between them. In my living room, I have a very small tube amp…

Would you also require Microsoft to send their source code to their competitors? I don't think anybody should be required to give away what they have spent time and money developing.
