I enjoyed Dead Rising 2. And the game sold well enough to not be a disaster. I still don't see where you're coming from. And as I remember, Inafune quit from Capcom's terrible policies.

Your talking Mega Man 8 and X4 aren't you? From what I hear they hired English speakers in Japan which explains why the dialogue is so stilted and why Mega Man calls his rival a fish.

We don't know if the series will be an on-going story or (what you seem to fear) a Sonic Boom style show. Remember the backstory states Beck wasn't designed to be as combat oriented as the others. I'm hoping he'll start off inexperienced but eventually become the Super Fighting Robot he needs to be.

The sad part will be people trying to imitate this joke, not realizing it was only funny the first time. Like all those Goat Simulator clones.
