I guess it's true of most creators. Maybe that's why George Lucas kept going back and modifying the Original Trilogy.

From what I know the Japanese version of Pokemon Crystal had phone connect functionality that could never work in the West at the time because of differences in the phones.

I bought the original in a Steam Sale after most of the bugs were patched and while I did spend a lot of time on it I just gave up eventually. I didn't feel fun and the level system ended up as a war of attrition with the Zombie's levels. Compare to Skyrim where stronger Enemies appeared when you leveled up but softer

I think the Facebook game bubble has burst but don't count on them going away. There'll always be that one friend that needs more energy.

MMORPGs seem to be a dying breed. Personally I think the barriers between Moderately Multiplayer games and Massively Mutiplayer ones are fading.
