Please realize my “sponsored-ish” comment is completely sarcastic. I have noticed a rash of “this must be a sponsored post” type comments lately and laugh at the validity. Although I do not agree with the styling but I drive a Veloster so my taste is suspect at best.

Look, there’s zero sponsorship, other than they loaned me the car. In person, I think it looks pretty good. Maybe I’m too taken with overall happiness and the lovely summer weather, but I actually enjoyed the car, for what it is. That’s it. It happens sometimes.

Well, you’re not wrong; this car is a good price compared to other new cars, which, yep, are too expensive. I agree. I’m all for cheaper, more basic cars, but at the moment, hardly anyone builds them.

It’s really not that big.

No, it’s just a rare positive review. A sponsored post wouldn’t have let me say how much the touch controls suck.

Definitely the flu.

...Which was totally the flu.

4. You're absolutely a piece of shit (see #1).

Kinda reminds me of the iconic pictures of Scottie Pippen holding Jordan up at the end of the ‘flu game’.

“And lots of massages,” she said. “In the groin era.”

I’m not an expert yet, but I am being trained by them. You would be surprised at the amount of torque a crankshaft can take before breaking. It is possible to break things due to inertial loading, but I don’t think that’s an issue in this case.

Haha, I did just that. I went to MarcoAndretti.com and hit the contact button. I’m 99.999% sure they will ignore my email though!

By far the best rebuttal to my comment. You are correct that bearing loads would be smaller when combustion is not occurring.

What type of pump do they use that will always pump forward regardless of direction? I’m most familiar with the gerotor style dry sump, and those will pump in the opposite direction if spun backward.

Qualification: I haven’t watched any of the new TG.

My Regulatory law professor used the Catch rule to demonstrate what it looks like when a regulatory body doesn’t have to answer to the people, and therefore doesn’t have anyone to tell them “bad dog”.

When I was a child and the world was new and exciting, I thought I understood what a catch was. Now that I’m in my 30s and jaded, I’ve learned that I will never understand what a catch truly is.
