I was quite a fan of the Extremis armor with the gold-armor/underwear as a base and then actual armor on top. Need to catch up, though, as I haven't read anything past the Civil War arc.

The solution is clearly to not work hard, and cheat and lie to look like you succeed.

What theaters are going to be showing this movie? I know it's an IFC movie, but I don't get that channel, so...do I just have to wait for the DVD?

After seeing this trailer in the theatre I shouted the 'AVENGERS ASSEMMMBBBLLE!' battlecry-thing. Got some weird stares for that.

I'd like to see the results of a human/chimp crossbreed. I'm thinking it'd be kinda like a mule is to horses and donkeys, but I dunno....

They don't call it a sport. They call it an eSport. Different.

You could turn your disappointment and aggravation (which I suppose you could decide exists/doesn't exist after the demo) into action and cancel your preorder.

The battlefield series is anything but generic.

Yes. Episode One has some graphical improvements, AI improvements, but it's kinda short. Also, the dev commentary is awesome.

Considering that my username is derived (edit: It /is/ Odin's spear's name) from Odin's spear's name, I'd like to point out that there are two n's in the word. Gu/n/gnir, as opposed to Gugnir.

Late response: Yes! I have very little memory of what happened in those books, but I do recall reading them in the wee hours of the night (10 o' clock, at that age.)

PC gamers want new consoles, you say? I...don't really get this. Am I interpreting you correctly?

Now that I think about it, this is probably the book that set me off on being a voracious consumer of the written word. This, and D'aulaire's Book of Greek Myths were what I spent most of my time re-reading in the first year or so of elementary school.

The Notch/Minecraft situation seems very similar to the whole GRRM/Dance with Dragons deal. (Look up Neil Gaiman's rant: "George RR Martin is not your bitch.") Well, the fans, anyway. Notch /is/ churning out updates...perhaps less frequently than he used to be, but it hasn't been 5 years.

The website is down now. I'm not really sure why, but I'm gonna go ahead and blame the Kotaku Effect.

This game is incredibly fun if you can manage to locate a server that isn't full/buggy.

Hm...yes. Yes, you are correct.

After reading Bellafante's review I formed a hypothesis. I checked it out by looking at her most recent article, and lo and behold, confirmed! She /is/ someone who adores soap operas!

No, this game is scary as all hell.

I'd advise against that. Back in my yarr-ing days, the one time I got notified by my ISP was because of an HBO show. Kinda sucked, considering that I get HBO...anyway, stopped completely after that. Been clean for 5 or so years.
