It's about -11 C here today, so actually not too bad. We had a few days there in November that dipped down to -35 C (~ -31F ) or so, which is getting into goddamn cold territory.

My personal favourite trip to a pharmacy was one day I went with my friends on our way to a party. One guy was complaining of back pain, so I convinced him to buy some generic brand Robax. I have spent many a winter olympics mesmerized in front of a TV watching people slide rocks across ice, suddenly pretending I know shit about the strategy, having arguments with my friends about the competence/incompetence of the skips of my national team.

As someone who consumed an unreasonable amount of internet fanfiction when I was a young teen I wouldn't worry about it too much***. I turned out mostly ok - I have a job and a house and everything.
