Yikes, that movie gave me nightmares and I watched as a grown ass adult (the thing with the eye hands gaaaaahhahahaaa)

This is what I hear - booze is very important to the process.

I dunno how this could possibly be the saddest Monday of the year. Last week was two days on, one day off, two days on for a lot of office workers. Lots of people are still on Holiday vacation, or just finished getting off of holiday vacation. Everyone who was burned out by holidays is probably grateful to get back to

Yup. It's probably one of the reasons I enjoy watching curling so much, because I am a Canadian, and it's pretty certain we're going to medal at it. That and all the furious shouting and broom action.

I have spent many a winter olympics mesmerized in front of a TV watching people slide rocks across ice, suddenly pretending I know shit about the strategy, having arguments with my friends about the competence/incompetence of the skips of my national team.

As someone who consumed an unreasonable amount of internet fanfiction when I was a young teen I wouldn't worry about it too much***. I turned out mostly ok - I have a job and a house and everything.

Probably the record for number of grizzly murders featured and solved in a story where most of the main characters are (technically) children.

I think a lot of people forget how old Sansa is supposed to be in the show, because the actress who plays her looks like a taller, older teen (Sophie Turner is 17). It really hit me in the scene after the wedding when Tyrion asks her age, and she tells him she is 14 years old. Any sympathy I had been lacking for

I will confess. I pretty much put this whole thing together just to post that second GIF, which is incredible :D

Hop on Loser, We're going Shopping!

I am reasonably certain it's on Netflix now.

Easier proposition. Have Thanksgiving in October like all the cool and reasonable people in Canada do.

Chiming in with you - I really don't care for all this black Friday business around here either. Maybe if people don't go they will knock it off and we won't have to deal with it any more? (she says with hope, knowing that this will never happen) It just feels of the creeping american consumer machine, come to envelop

That Oswin AKA Clara ....

Personally, I was hoping that Karl Urban's airport interview slip-up was going to be totally true, and that Cumberbatch was going to be Gary Mitchell.

When Karl Urban had that Gary Mitchell slip, I was filled with so much hope - only to have it dashed into tiny pieces later :(

I don't really think you can overestimate the effect that kind of thing can have on a person - I mean, adults can be pretty good at letting stuff roll off their backs, but an ongoing, crushing disappointment in childhood can hurt quite a bit, and linger a long time.

Yeah! A couple of friends of mine got it, and it quickly became one of my favourites

Dayum. I had that in a Caesar once and it was probably the best one I had ever had in my life.

I've gotten my dad a couple of these sets for Christmases and birthdays - I sort of want to do the Robie House, but it's about a hundred bucks over my budget :(
