At least in my industry, in my city, it is much more common to hire summer students than to have interns. My (very small) company hired a summer student last year, and it seemed to me to be a pretty good deal for everybody.

I have only done this for very, very brief periods of time - like the amount of time it takes to pick up a package at the post office when there is no line. I would never leave the dog alone for any length of time. I wouldn't leave her outside at all if dogs were allowed in the store.

I have dumped so many hours into Kingdom Rush... man you guys don't even know (Because my brain has to beat every version of every level at the hardest difficulty without losing any dudes). Fewer into the sequel, Frontiers, but that's probably because I got reeaaally good at Kingdom Rush's style of game play .
