I'd suggest a charity they can donate to in your name. You can't stop people from spending money if they really want to, even if they can't afford it, but this is a good way to go instead.

The impression I got from most of these guys were

Same here, and I'm a sucker for syrupy musicals too.

Sorry! You've exceeded my knowledge by a bit. Pandemic is the one that I have played, which is pretty fun.

I had heard about this, and I had avoided it (I watched WAAAY too much DBZ as a kid.), but I watched episode one just now and am giggling entirely too much. They are even kind of in character too, just slightly less serious.

Try some Co-op style games with her, it worked on me. (I am friends with a couple who play a TON of board games) Some people have negative associations with competitive board games because of bitter family board game nights gone badly...

I fully endorse all of these suggestions. I'm friends with a board game obsessed couple who play Carcassone and Pandemic all the time (Plus, they are pretty easy to teach to outsiders who get trapped in your abode accidentally)

Oh good, a bigger map, so Risk games can go even longer O_O.

Most of them seem to be struggling to find some actually - I'm sure if someone put you in front of a camera and pressed you to come up with an opinion, You'd probably come up with something

Fennec foxes win all baby animal cuteness contests easily. They are like a cross between a a puppy an a kitten with enormous ears.

AHHH! Its like an adorable death dealing machine out of a Disney movie.

I'd give him juuust enough clothing to prevent him from being arrested, so he has to decide whether he is going to stand there and wait for forgiveness (not happening) or walk home in his underwear.

Yeah, I agree with you, and I had a terrible first year room mate (She complained about me constantly to the CA on our floor, mostly because I got up in time to get to my morning classes, and it sometimes woke her up when I left. Also, my clock ticked. She never told me any of this stuff, I just got to hear about it

I would totes agree about Xena (She's on Netflix, you can watch ALL the episodes if you so desire). I remember Xena not really being high on the 'Approved for children' list in my house though, due to all the murder. I recall that I wanted her death frisbee thing though...

For me, it was ballerinas - they got to wear pink all the time, and had pretty skirts, and were super graceful. I think children all latch on to a fantasy idea of who the Best Adult Ever would be, and its never going to be a supreme court justice or someone with a similarly boring outfit. Its always going to be

I find it helps if you under cook it a little before you freeze it. Less mush that way :p

Second on the freezing thing. I usually cook for one, so instead of reducing the recipes to 1/4 or 1/2, I make the whole thing and freeze the rest in big gallon freezer baggies for when I feel lazy.

A lot of these jobs are skilled labour, not desk work. Think more like construction, and less like laboratory. Women are under represented for the same reasons that women tend to be under represented in other trades (Macho boys club, perception women can't do hard physical labour, etc. etc. ...)

They could also have uniforms that are black and green, that's usually a clue too. You know, instead of red and white, or red and blue uniforms, like a proper All American Sports Team.

I love how some people are reacting to this as if it were a high school swimming competition movie, and the evil rival school has done something dastardly and brought in a ringer from out of state/country. *Cue whispers about how they secretly enrolled her in the school just for the meet, pan camera to Missy, who
