Is it good or bad to know that conservatives on other countries not just the US are wacky conspiracy nut jobs?

However, I don’t want to drive a car that weighs over 1.7 tonnes. If I stop racing and don’t need to tow, <1.4 tonnes would be ideal. This combination is unavailable right now, but hopefully in the future.

This is what a lot of people dont seem to get, yes a ton of people can/should go EV. But there are plenty of people that it doesnt make sense (like you). The problem is that the 95% of the people look at your use case and say “NO way EV!” but then rarely drive over 1-200 a day. Or they want to ignore the fact that

I’ve been thinking about a PHEV for my next vehicle, as that seems to tick the boxes for me - between the chargers at work and one I’d install at home, I could do all my work commuting and running around town on battery only, but then I wouldn’t have any issues or extra planning needed for road trips, when the power

Your drivers license should be revoked.

There’s a sign in front of the crosswalk that says to Yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.

It is state law to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk. You can tell because there’s a sign clearly visible in the video that says exactly that. The Tesla failed to yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk, breaking the law. So it either didn’t know, or it did know and broke the law anyway. Those are the only two

It’s straight-up illegal. You must yield to pedestrians in crosswalks — as in stopping your car. In particular, if this were a kid, you can’t predict that they won’t suddenly speed up. The purpose of yielding is that you don’t have to deal with the what ifs.

I’m riffing off something I read elsewhere but, a world where AI gets to write poetry and paint pictures all day while I get run over by autonomous vehicles on my way to a minimum wage job is not the future I was promised.

Hit them where it hurts. This is a case where civil lawsuits, costing the company many millions of dollars while also partially compensating the victims of this greed, are a good thing.

I think a lot of dudes like to romanticise harsher times, because they think they’d thrive in such times. They consider everyone else beneath them, therefore their own mediocrity must have been forced upon them by a society that elevates others.

I don’t get the “hard times create strong men...” aphorism. If it really is a fact of life, then why complain about weak men? They’re the fault of strong men creating easy times, and the weak men will apparently eventually create strong men. Shouldn’t the solution be to create medium men who in turn create medium

I love how "I like to do my own research" has become such a convenient shorthand for me to instantly dismiss the person saying it as a complete fúcking moron.

It’s really terrible when people jump to disrespectul conclusions. Anyway, like I was saying, most western men are feminine and weak...

Referring to women as “females” is like the free space on a MRA / incel bingo card. It’s fucking weird and gross, and a dead giveaway that they don’t see women even remotely as equals.

to be fair, VW is just being stingy and fucking over Americans as usual. Every other market of the ID.4 gets heat pumps at least as an option. As for the Mach E, well, Ford will Ford.

We’ve taken 15-20 cheap and easy to source parts and combined them into 1 proprietary part that costs 10x as much as the sum of the individual parts and can only be ordered through us!

How about, “Why did it take Tesla this long to add a Heat Pump?

I have a Sienna and only two kids. Our day to day doesn’t require the third row, but we use it almost every weekend when their cousins come over and it is nice to have when my parents visit and we can fit everyone in one vehicle. I’m also planning to get a hitch attachment so I can tow the Christmas float for the
