Yep. Its supirsingly common in the OEM world(shipping prototypes all around the world for testing). The price depends on a bunch of different factors, but if the car is low enough to fit in an airline cargo bay(which is 5ft 8in tall on a 777-200), it can sometimes be cheaper to go through a commercial airline than a

My vote for COTD goes to you, good sir!

Well, to your point, my buddy has almost 10k miles on his p1(which according to the dealership here is the highest mileage one in the bay area, which has quite a few). It has had quite a few issues, but yes, driving cars like this does really help. As for mileage effecting value, it absolutely does make a difference

I have a close friend who had a 12c and now has a p1, and another close friend who is an instructor at the McLaren school at Sonoma Raceway. The reliability has definitely improved a bit since the 12c, but they still have quite a few issues (the sport series cars at least dont have the high maintenance hydraulic

This. The msrp on my ‘16 mustang gt performance pack was around 38k, but I got it for 31k. Ford does some pretty heavy discounting after the first year.

What these cars (specifically the 911r) are actually selling for(list price and selling price are two very different things) is not as clear as it seems. I have a good buddy who sells supercars for one of the biggest dealerships in LA. He has told me that many of the well published (including here) R flipping prices

Ill try and answer your questions here-

Yes and no. Art Center in Pasadena is arguably the best transportation (car) design school in the US. All other IDS programs there(product, furniture, environmental etc) are very good as well.Very expensive, super competitive and has a portfolio requirement for acceptance(has to be pretty good). Also, you can not have

Ugh. I have probably had this exact conversation before.

Fellow ID guy here(Trans Designer, but currently working on a car-related product design project, and have done a few products as freelance work)....and everything you wrote is the story of my life.

Lol...awesome. I cant believe I haven’t seen these.
